Kate Gunn

A proud Tiger, Kate brings more than 13 years of fundraising experience to her role leading the principal gifts team. She began her advancement career at Mizzou in 2010, serving in progressively senior roles on the regional development team before joining the principal gift team as assistant executive director in 2022.

In addition to helping shape Mizzou’s principal gift strategy, Kate played a key role in the Mizzou: Our Time to Lead campaign, the university’s record-breaking $1.4 billion fundraising effort that concluded in 2020. Her commitment to building meaningful, donor-centric partnerships continues to drive transformational giving across the university. Kate holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Mizzou and a master’s degree in strategic leadership from Stephens College.
