Credit Card
To make a gift using a credit card, you can give online or download and print a pledge/gift form. Mizzou accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards for gifts and pledge payments.
Pledges
Pledges are gifts that are paid over time. To make a pledge, download and fill out our pledge form. If you are an MU faculty member, staff member or retiree, download and fill out the faculty, staff and retirees pledge form.
You determine the amount of your pledge, where your gift goes, the frequency of payments and length of pay period. Mizzou will send a pledge reminder each time a payment is due.

Mizzou Payroll Deduction
Payroll deduction gifts are an easy way for faculty, staff and retirees to give to Mizzou. To make a contribution to Mizzou through a payroll deduction, complete the payroll deduction form. Contributions may be made to any area of the university. For a full list of available designations, please check the designations list.

When you make a gift to Mizzou, you will receive an official receipt by mail. Please check the gift receipt carefully to verify the gift amount and the programs to receive your designated gift.
Gift Assessment
As per the UM Board of Curators, a one percent gift assessment policy is in effect for all new gifts to MU. The policy excludes charitable trusts, charitable annuities and gifts-in-kind. If you have questions or for more information, please call 1-877-738-4546
Endowment Distribution
The spending rate on UM endowments is currently being transitioned from 5.0% to 4.5% over a period not to exceed the seven years ended June 30, 2019. The calculation of the amount to be distributed will be based on the trailing 28-quarter average of the endowment’s total market value. In no case shall the transition from 5.0% to 4.5% cause the actual spending distribution to decrease from one year to the next during the transition phase.
